To avoid stress taking a toll on your health, it is important to recognize stress symptons, the earlier the better. The stress responses in your body give rise to specific reactions in your brain and body that you should be aware of.
Stress and anxiety share many symptoms, but are inherently different: stress is the response to a situation and anxiety is a reaction to that stress. Chronic, or permanent, stress can induce excessive worrying, fear, panic attacks, or other physical symptoms, which may thus be symptoms of stress.
A symptom of stress may be the craving for chocolate, a burger or other unhealthy, high-caloric foods to calm yourself down. While eating these foods can indeed help to reduce stress, you may become overweight and diabetic as a result. How can you break the loop between stress and overeating?
